A pic of the engine bay. |
Another pic of the engine bay. Check out the size of the radiator!!! No cooling probs here!! |
Fixing up the body with a bit of filler and spot putty. |
In primer and almost ready for the top coats. |

And more. |
And more. |

I have a set of Yokahama A008RS tyres for doing lap sprints and hill climbs. As you can see they don't fit under the front gaurds (205 60 13) so i will have to cut out the gaurds and fit a set of fibre glass flares (about $200).
This pic shows how wide the tyres are! |
A pic of the Wheels and tyres. They certainly fill up the gaurds!!
The bush land photo shot.......dramatic huh?? |
Rear shot (i guess you figured that out) |
Dare i say it!!! |

The Cobra trophy race seat (bought from Revolution race gear.) |
The bonnet pins are there because the rules state that you must have a second securing device. |
As the car will be used for club level events there is no need to paint the engine bay. |
I know it's old technology but its still affective (the engine is out of a 92 Nissan Vanette!) |
Twin 40mm Webbers sound pretty good! |
This pic shows the battery in it's original position. It will be moved into the battery box which will sit on the floor where the passenger seat was! In its place will sit a metal oil catch tank and the washer water tank. |

Safety first!! A Cobra trophy seat, Klippan 5 point harness 1kg fire exstinguisher, battery box and a kill switch. |

My Road car |
My everyday road car. A 1985 S3 Bluebird TRX. It has lowered King springs, tinted windows, an Alpine cd player, Infinity 5"splits, Kenwood 6x9's, 2 ASV amp's and 2 10"subs. |
The engine is a CA18DET 1.8ltr twin cam efi turbo. The engine came out of a 1991 Nissan Silvia., as you can see it isn't yet intercooled but will be before the wheather becomes hotter. It is very smooth and free reving but being a Jap motor it must be run on 98RON fuel (like optimax...ect) |
It has a full 3" madrel bent exhaust system and a huge straight through stainless steal Jasma muffler.....nice!! (it has a great exhaust note but is very quiet at idle.) |
An old 180B SSS I once owned (P610). I have owned 5 180B's over the years!

It had to happen one day and I finally did it!! How I hear you ask?? I was driving onto hexam bridge (near Newcastle) it is an indicated 35KP/H corner and I was doing about 80KP/H I had the car in a nice controlled slide until I got onto the the straight part of the bridge when the rear end decided to get traction and sent me in the opposite direction which I over corrected and slid sideways along the bridge until the front hit the concrete wall..............NIIIIIICE!! |
